COVID-19 SHOWROOM PROCEDURES

UDPATED FROM 19th JULY 2021

Despite the government easing some restrictions, several of our staff members have not yet had the opportunity to get fully vaccinated. Given that appointment meetings with clients take place face to face in an enclosed office environment and often last more than an hour, we are encouraging our customers and staff to continue being respectful towards each other and therefore we feel it would be significantly safer for all parties to continue with the policy of wearing a face covering during your visit, as recommended by health officials.

With this in mind, our staff will continue to wear face coverings in store and we politely ask all customers to continue wearing them whilst on the premises.

Additionally, we intend to keep practising our other existing safety measures in store;- these include visits taking place on an appointment-only basis to ensure social distancing is maintained, hand sanitising upon entry and, if you have the NHS app, registering your visit with us at the QR station in the showroom.

We realise these measures can be frustrating and we hope to be able to change our position on them in the near future. In the meantime, may we thank you for your continued cooperation which is appreciated.

We want your visit to us to be as safe as possible. So we have outlined some procedures for how this should happen when you arrive. If you could have a read of the following information, we would be greatly appreciative.

When you arrive at the showroom please call the office number (01603 402222) and we will attend to unlock and open the front door. When you enter the building please immediately make your way to our hand sanitiser station which is inside the front showroom to the left, signage for this is clearly marked and staff will guide you.

From September 24th, businesses will need to display the official NHS QR code posters so that customers can ‘check-in’ to assist with track & trace. Our poster is displayed immediately next to the hand sanitising station and you will be asked to scan in on arrival. The new NHS COVID-19 app, is now available to download for free in England and Wales, and is the fastest way to see if you're at risk from coronavirus. The faster you know, the quicker you can alert and protect your loved ones and community. The links below will allow you to download this ahead of your visit.

We are still advocating for all customers to continue wearing a face covering in line with Government guidance, so we would need to ask that you please bring and wear your mask or face covering during your appointment. We ask that you DO NOT wear or bring gloves, as unless these are totally brand new they could already be contaminated and by wearing them and interacting with our products you could inadvertently be spreading germs to surfaces. We have high strength hand sanitising stations throughout the showroom, and once your hands have been sanitised you will be able to touch and interact with our displays. When you see a sanitising station, we would ask that you please use the sanitiser to keep your hands fresh and clean. We have increased both the frequency and thoroughness of cleaning but where possible we will try to demonstrate things to you to further limit surface contamination.

We have floor marking stickers and prompts throughout the showroom reinforcing the importance of social distancing, please ensure that these are strictly adhered to. We must ensure that we observe the governments guidance of maintaining social distancing of 1 Meters at all times. If part of your visit includes a presentation at one of our desks then we would ask that you please wait outside the office whilst our staff enter to take their seat, they will reposition the chairs at a safe distance, and once completed you may enter to take your seat. Hand sanitiser is also provided on all desks in the showroom.

As the health and safety of both our customers and our staff is of paramount importance to us, sadly we are not offering tea and coffee facilities at present. If you would like tea or coffee we would ask that you please bring your own in a flask. Finally, if you, or anybody you are living / isolating with, or anyone you have recently came into contact with has shown any symptoms of coronavirus then you must not attend.

This information will be relayed to you on arrival and we look forward to welcoming you soon.
